James and I have gone to the Pumpkin Patch every year since we moved here. This year we brought Paul, Natalie, and Sarah along with us! :) We had a fun time, even if it was a little rainy and chilly out.
There were a few animals to see.
It's too bad I don't have a picture of James next to this scarecrow from last year! Then we could see how much he has grown.
He really didn't want to stand next to it for some reason. Maybe the scarecrow scared him!
Sarah stayed dry and warm with her daddy the whole time:
James thought the little boat was pretty cool (after he got over his initial fear). He sure loves his aunt Natalie!
Natalie helped James find the perfect pumpkin. The stem is shaped like a handle, so he could pick it up by himself.
Then, we got to ride a little train back from the patch to the barn area. This was by far James' favorite part. Like most boys, he just loves trains!
Sarah liked it, too. :)
It sure is beautiful up here. I really do feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place.
I think we have a new family tradition. :)
