Pi Day

OK, how many of you celebrated Pi Day?

*crickets*

What, you've never heard of Pi Day? Saturday was March 14 (3/14), otherwise known (by a select few) as Pi Day (you know, 3.14159....). Yes, it's probably the nerdiest reason you can have to celebrate. Of course, any excuse to eat pie is a good one in the Peterson household! ;)

Paul and I celebrated with a Caramel Apple Cream Cheese Pie from Marie Callender's. Very yummy.

Good times. :) Pie lovers out there, make sure to remember to celebrate next year!

I am so sad I forgot about Pi Day!! I love Pi! I definitely think it's a good reason to have pie! Jeff and I were at Dance Sport at BYU practically all day long. From 8-11:30am to watch Jillian perform then we went home for lunch. We went back at 4pm and brought ourselves a dinner, then we went home at 7:30pm and went back at 9pm and stayed till 12! It was a long day! :)

I just have to say my new ambition in life is to have a piece of that pie! Caramel apple cream cheese?!? Sounds (and looks) divine!

I had never heard of it and Nate said it to me on Saturday and I just starred at him for a long time. I got it eventually, after he explained it to me. I think I will remember next year and forever on since it is Nate's birthday the same day. I should make pie next year instead of cake.

If by celebrate you mean got a stomach ache, swallowed down a few ramen noodles and a coke, remembered Pi day, and decided that sugar would be an insanely bad idea right now, then yes! I totally celebrated. Actually, I did celebrate! I celebrated by starting April Fool's two weeks early and turning all the desks upside down in another teacher's classroom. Yay!

Yes! I celebrated! I threw a party, but only 2 people came. :( I guess that was partly because I had to hold it after stake conference, and who knew when that would end!? I'll post pictures when I get a chance. We had 3 types of pie: apple pie, peanut butter cream pie, and a twice-winning South Pacific coconut cream pie (you might remember that I loathe coconut....) My oldest brother Jon threw a party too (in CO), and he had 60 people come! And Mark has a Pi pie plate, with as many digits of pi that will fit around the edge, with a big symbol of pi in the middle. I helped him make a pie for his party too. :)

I remembered Pi day. I was told "happy pi day!" Any yet, I had no pie. How sad.
